Organizing events is in the DNA of BG Sportpromotion. Almost all kinds of high level-events in motorsport were handled by BG Sportpromotion. This includes Formula 1 and MotoGP races, DTM, ADAC GT Masters, Red Bull Airrace, FIA European Truck Racing Championship, European Le Mans Series, World Series by Renault, and many more.
With the Motorsport Festival, BG Sportpromotion GmbH launched a new event format in July 2020 and celebrated a successful birth at the Salzburgring.
Due to the many organisational areas (sporting organisation, ticketing, security & traffic, hospitality, infrastructure & technology, marketing and PR) at major motor sport events, we always offer targeted and individual solutions. The most common forms of collaboration are:
XLR8 is an accelerating live experience that leaves an impression. Top-class racing, mobility experiences, gaming and more. With its finger on the pulse, XLR8 lets you experience the mobility of tomorrow today. Unique fan concepts let visitors experience the world of racing in a new way.
BG supported the team at Salzburgring onits 50th anniversary. A weekend with little motorsport, but a high level of commitment from local residents, the regional economy and the clubs. An open house day with a festion character for the whole family.
World-class historic motorsport is back in Austria! The Austrian Historic at the Redbull Ring is THE classic racing highlight in June 2022. The unprecedented format in Austria offers living racing history for all the senses. Conceived and organised by BG Sportpromotion.
The ultimate spectacle at the Salzburgring for all car fans who want to experience pure racing feeling! In groups ranging from beginners to advanced racers, road cars to classic cars to non-approved race cars can race their way around the track.
BG Sportpromotion was founded in June 2020 by Rene Binna and Christoph Gerlach. Both have been active in motorsport for many years and have now decided to deepen and expand their collaboration and to pass on the pooled knowledge to companies and customers. The reason for this was a conversation with the then and unfortunately too soon deceased F1 race director Charlie Whiting in the context of the 2018 Formula 1 in Spielberg. After this discussion it became clear that not only the competence, but also the chosen consulting approach will be decisive for a long-term and sustainable success.
